#1210 A case study: the framework for getting traction – with Gabriel Weinberg

Gabriel Weinberg on Mixergy Interviews Sep 30th 2015

Description

If you have an iPhone, one of the included search engines is DuckDuckGo. It’s actually built into Apple’s operating system, an amazing feat for a startup. DuckDuckGo was launched by Gabriel Weinberg who wasn’t afraid to compete in Google’s world. He worked from home, by himself, and had to find time for work while being his baby’s primary caretaker. Today his search engine is doing over 10 million queries per day! And it’s growing. In fact, he co-authored a book on how to get traction. It’s called, Traction. I invited him here to talk about three things which you’ll hear in this interview.

Gabriel Weinberg is founder of DuckDuckGo, the search engine that doesn’t track you. His new book, Traction, is a startup guide to getting customers.
